Image - Rose Jarboe Rose Jarboe has over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance and real estate investments. She is the Co-Founder and Managing Principal of WePartner in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, a real estate investment and management firm specialized in residential and commercial real estate. At WePartner, Mrs. Jarboe oversees all business activities including investment analysis, finance, property management, and construction management. She is responsible for the underwriting and execution of new investment opportunities, as well as the management of the existing portfolio and third-party assets. Before founding WePartner, Mrs. Jarboe spent nine years as the corporate controller of a $300 million nursing home management company. Mrs. Jarboe is on the Board of True Love for Special Needs Families, Inc., a new non-profit for special needs children, which her company funds the startup costs for. Mrs. Jarboe is also a member of the Atlanta Chinese Business Association and of the Atlanta Chinese Entrepreneur Club.
Image - Bill Abernathy Bill Abernathy has over 48 years of experience in the banking industry. Mr. Abernathy is Principal & Executive Consultant for Abernathy Bank Consulting. ABC provides consulting services across a broad spectrum, but specializes in helping banks with Risk Management, Regulatory Matters, and serving as an Expert Witness in Litigation. After graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in banking and finance, he joined the Comptroller of the Currency as a Bank Examiner and over 33 years held executive management positions as Commissioned Bank Examiner, Director of Bank Supervision, Director of Compliance and Bank Analysis, Director of Human Resources and Assistant Deputy Controller. After his career with the OCC, Mr. Abernathy held executive management positions at Fidelity Bank, Flag Bank, Brand Banking Company and State Bank & Trust Company, all located in the Atlanta and exceeding $1 billion in assets.
Image - Julin Gu Julin Gu has 20 years of professional experience working in the banking and financial services sectors. In 2013 he left Bank of America after 15 years in the Healthlogic Systems Corporation Division to begin working as a Senior Consultant for Tata Consulting Services in Tucker, Georgia, a multinational information technology service, consulting, and business solutions company. Here he assisted healthcare providers in new platform implementations. Currently Mr. Gu is the President of China US Technology Innovation Center, located in Johns Creek, Georgia. The innovation center focuses on technology talent and fostering innovation between Georgia and China. Mr. Gu is a leader in the Chinese Community in the metro Atlanta area. He organizes many networking and social community events, such as serving as the organizer of the annual World Trade Center Atlanta Chinese New Year Business Forum since 2004 and the Chinese New Year Gala Show since 2006.
Image - John Lewis John Lewis, Jr.  is an equity partner with the international law firm of Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP and is resident in both its Atlanta and Houston offices where he practices in the areas of commercial litigation, insolvency, investigations and whistleblower/employment matters. Prior to his return to private law practice, he held roles of increasing responsibility in a 14-year career with The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE: KO) as the company’s global chief litigation counsel, Coke’s first international anti-corruption counsel and as the Company’s global head of diversity and workplace fairness. With nearly 20 years’ experience as a financial institutions director, he served on the board of the Coca-Cola Federal Credit Union for over ten years including four years as Vice-Chair of the Board. Mr. Lewis also served as a member of the Board of Directors of The Private Bank of Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia and was a member of the Audit Committee prior to PBB’s merger with National Bank of Commerce (NASDAQ: NCOM) in 2017. In addition to his law practice, he serves as a bankruptcy trustee, receiver and special master in complex business disputes by court appointment. Mr. Lewis also served for five years as a member of the Atlanta Board of Ethics, including three years as its Chair. Mr. Lewis currently serves on the boards of the Atlanta Botanical Garden and the Anti-Defamation League (Southeast Region). Mr. Lewis serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council for his alma mater, The George Washington Law School. He is a founding shareholder of Loyal Trust Bank and currently chairs the Bank’s Audit Committee and is a member of the Bank’s Loan Committee.
Image - Edwin Oh Edward Oh has over 35 years of professional experience serving positions as a Chief Officer and Captain in merchant ship sailing worldwide, as well as, establishing and operating a successful manufacturing business in South Carolina and Georgia. In 1993, Mr. Oh founded US Fibers, a division of Pac Tell Group, Inc. Its main office is located in Marietta, Georgia while a manufacturing facility is located in Trenton, SC. The company provides recycling services specializing in polyester recycling and staple fiber manufacturing. Mr. Oh is also recognized for founding the US Holdings Regional Center that is designated by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to attract foreign capital to help boost job creation and local economies in the United States in the manufacturing industry, in real estate development and the creation of retail businesses. In 2013, Governor Nikki Haley named Mr. Oh the South Carolina Ambassador for Economic Development. Mr. Oh was invited to the White House with 26 selected representatives of the US companies who have made a contribution to the US economic growth and was recognized with meeting President Obama and the US Economic Development Team.
Image - James Park James Park has nearly 30 years of experience as a Chief Executive Officer in the manufacturing and wholesale distribution business. In 1989, Mr. Park founded Sun’s Transfer Co., Ltd., a rhinestone embellishments wholesale and manufacturing company based in Atlanta where he has serves as Chief Executive Officer. The company engages with major U.S. retailers, such as Coach, Victoria’s Secret, and Calvin Klein. The company manufactures products in Korea and exports them to the US, China, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and many other countries around the world. Mr. Park is an active investor in franchise businesses, real estate, and locally owned restaurants. He owns indoor playground franchises and ice cream franchises in Georgia and New Jersey, and invests in single-family housing projects in metro Atlanta and a Japanese restaurant in Alpharetta.
Image - Bo Shen Bo Shen has 25 years of professional experience in the financial services and technology industries working in asset management, investment banking, consulting, among other areas. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Fenbushi Capital, the first China-based venture capital firm that exclusively invests in blockchain-enabled companies. Mr. Shen began his career working for Raymond James Financial Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia as a Financial Consultant, Vice President of Investment. He spent five years at Raymond James before moving to MCI Corporation in Atlanta to work as the Senior Internet Consultant. In 2001, Mr. Shen began work as Assistant President for China East Asset Management Inc. in Shanghai. Mr. Shen was the Chief Executive Officer of Shanghai Huaji Internet Holding in Shanghai from 2004 to 2008. In 2009, he became Managing Partner for Confederated Asset Management, Ltd. In Hong Kong, a position held until 2012. Between 2014 and 2015 he was the Chief Executive Officer of DACx, a crowdfunding platform for decentralized autonomous corporations, which led him to his current position as Managing Partner of Fenbushi Capital. Mr. Shen is globally considered a blockchain pioneer and as a company Fenbushi has invested in over 50 startups worldwide.
Image - Dong Wang Dong Wang is a highly awarded neurologist and community leader in Johns Creek. He has over 40 publications to his name, including original articles on many neurological topics. He currently works at the Georgia Neurodiagnostic & Treatment Center in Duluth, Georgia where he specializes in adult neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and more. In 2006, he began his Residency in Pediatric Neurology with New York-Presbyterian Hospital at the Columbia University Medical Center. From 2009 to 2012, he did an Adult Neurology Residency at Montefiore Medical Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. Following this residency, he began a clinical Neurophysiology-EEG/EMG fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital, an affiliate of Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Upon completion of his fellowship in 2013, Dr. Wang came to Georgia where he began working for the Lagrange Neurology Corporation in Lagrange, Georgia. In 2015, Dr. Wang began working at his current position in the Georgia Neurodiagnostic & Treatment Center in Duluth, Georgia. Currently, he serves as the President of the Chinese Medical Association of Atlanta, a Board Member of the Shandong Association in Atlanta, and a Scientific Advisory Board Member of the Glut1 Deficiency Foundation.
